Dr. Gilor Kelly is a researcher at the Volcani Center’s Department of Fruit Tree Sciences, specializing in citrus molecular physiology and genome editing. His work focuses on uncovering the genetic and physiological basis of key traits in citrus, including responses to environmental stresses and opportunities for trait improvement. He earned his Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed his postdoctoral research at the Volcani Center before establishing his own research group.
